Dr. Lukas McWhorter, MD
I have been a Family Medicine doctor for over a decade and genuinely love what I do. I grew up in Lubbock, Texas and attended Texas Tech University for undergrad and then Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for medical school and residency.
As soon as I finished residency, I couldn’t get to Denver quick enough. I have been practicing outpatient Family Medicine in the Denver metro since. My favorite thing about Family Medicine is the connections I get to make with my patients. Whether you’re coming in for your annual physical, an acute problem, chronic disease management, or bringing in your child for a visit, my goal is to listen to your concerns and through a team approach, figure out what is best for your health and goals. I take a particular interest in dermatalogic procedures and LGBTQ+ medicine.
Outside of work, I like to spend time with my dogs Frank and Lucy, love to camp, ski, and fish. I also love college sports of all kinds.

Lauren Kolfenbach, PA-C
I’m a seasoned healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in family practice. I grew up in Grand Rapids, MI, where I also attended college at Calvin University before pursuing further education at the University of Iowa’s PA school.
After a brief stint at a gastroenterology practice in Chicago, I found my true calling in Denver, where I’ve dedicated myself to providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and medical needs. My passion lies in fostering connections and building relationships with my patients, while also focusing on preventative care and managing acute and chronic conditions. With particular expertise in women’s and adolescent health, I’m committed to addressing the unique needs of diverse patient populations. I believe in partnering with my patients to optimize their health and well-being for years to come.
Outside of work, my husband and I love exploring new restaurants, cheering on our favorite sports teams, and traveling. However, we get to spend most of our time chasing after our three busy and energetic children!
